Continuing the Search for My Second Project
One week later, I narrowed my options to web security, developer communities, and small products built around proven demand.
This is a small space on the internet about me. Technology changes quickly, but ideas and thoughtful writing tend to last longer. I hope this space can persist and accumulate over time.
I grew up in Shanghai and later studied and worked in computer science in the Bay Area, United States.
Over the years I’ve worked on backend infrastructure, distributed systems, and reliability problems.
I enjoy solving problems, and I tend to approach them in an engineer’s way — breaking things down, understanding how they work, and explaining them clearly.
Outside of engineering, I spend time on outdoor activities, playing poker, and exploring new ideas on the internet.
